Sandro Parmeggiani Museum

La rosa e la candela

The museum is housed in the Renazzo City Hall, built in 1927 to plans by Giuseppe Costa.

The Museum was established by donation of painter Sandro Parmeggiani (Milan 1910 - 2004) of a significant number of his works, representing the evolution of twentieth century Italian art, to the Cassa di Risparmio in Cento.
Starting with this original core, the museum's collection expanded with the Sandro Parmeggiani Museum addition of numerous paintings and sculptures by prominent contemporary Italian artists.
The museum has a busy calendar of exhibitions, conferences and meetings with artists, and works to protect local artworks and promote new works.

Not wheelchair accessible.
